[What's this? Silver is outside with his Pokemon and...not training?! You're not seeing things, this is totally the case. Quilava is happily rolling around in the grass, Sneasel's sharpening his claws on a rock and Golbat is looking for somewhere cool and shady to relax. Silver himself is just sitting there and watching them.

They're not gonna get stronger by playing and goofing off. Silver wants to be annoyed by this but he just...can't.]

[He minds. Silver grumbles, rubbing his ass and legs as he stands up.]

Well, the berries are somewhere in my room.

We'll wait here, then.

[Silver heads to his room and comes back a second later with one of each berry-Charti, Passho, Wacan, Chilan, Keiba, Payapa and Rindo.]

[The Charti berry catches Soren's interest right away. Even if he had been born in Luceti, his instincts told him that one was very Good Eats. Just let him stare at it okay.]

That's all of them? [That's a lot...]

Well, there's a lot more kinds but Lyra hasn't collected 'em all.

[Lyra... That's not a name he's familiar with from Yellow, so they must not be here.]

How many? And who's Lyra?

Like fifty, or something.

Lyra's this girl I know. She's kind of annoying, but she's always trying to help me out and stuff.

The Pokemon holds them and eats them and it just...weakens the attacks.

[Soren scoots closer, and tries to go for the Charti Berry.]

Dunno. Some kind of chemistry thing, I dunno much about Pokemon nutrition other than what's good and what's bad for them.
