[You're probably noticing a familiar, but not as familiar-looking redhead walking around the village. His hair is shorter and choppier and he seems shorter and stockier. And his face is...not as expressive. He's also talking in random word salad phrases-VERY loudly.

Feel free to ask him what his deal is, but don't expect a coherent answer. Or for him to lower his voice.]

[From a distance away and from the back, everybody looks like everybody. It's true. And knowing only the other Silver, Red approaches him thinking that it might be the same one he knows! He doesn't know many redheads, okay.

So he puts a hand on his shoulder, moving himself to face him-]

[Another person? Glares at this one, too. Cause that's the bulk of what his face can do in this state.]

[That is loud. And completely unlike Silver. But- it looks like Silver too? Sorta? Red takes a step back, confused.]

Wha-? What are you talking about? [...] Are you challenging me?

[Red has pokéballs. Does Silver!not!Silver have pokéballs?]

YOU DON'T KNOW, THERE IS NOTHING TO DO. I HAVE GOOD MONSTER,WHAT'S THE MATTER I TELL YOU

[And he tosses out Golbat's Pokeball.]

[What the heck- no who cares what he just said. Moving back!]

I've got good monsters too! [He takes Pikachu's recently found pokéball from his waist, tossing it out!] Pikachu! Go for a quick attack!

[Though only just coming out, Pikachu sees the opponent and knows what to do. He sprints forward, leaping up to hit into the Golbat.]

[Unfortunately, Golbat was also badly "downgraded". The poor bat gets knocked around quite a bit, barely able to get a hit in edgewise before it passes out.]

ARE YOU GLAD AFTER WINNING? [oh look, something vaguely coherent]

[... what. Pikachu looks as confused as Red does. Red's wondering if it's a trick, but...]

Huh? No? What's going on? [Pikachu begins moving back towards Red, just in case.] Who are you?
