[Is it just him, or are the trees whispering an awful lot lately? The fact that the trees are talking at all should have alarmed him, but Silver pretty much knows to expect crazy shit to happen for no reason by now. No, what's bugging him is what they're whispering.]

Why should I give a shit about any of this?! Who cares who's got eyes for who and who's into what and all that crap?!

Setting the trees on fire would shut them up, and if the only thing you care about is not hearing what they're saying, then you can just put earplugs in your ears! That's two ideas right there!
